Bio
Ramez Tag is a prominent figure in the global art scene, known for his distinctive approach and significant contributions. With a rich history of engaging in domestic and global exhibitions, seminars, and workshops across Egypt, the USA, Italy, France, and Turkey, Ramez has garnered numerous awards and accolades for his work.
With over 14 years of experience in the Fine Arts academic field, Ramez Tag has made a lasting impact as an educator, providing more than 6,850 hours of educational guidance to students at three leading universities, including ALEXU, PUA, and AIU, across both private and public sectors.
He developed 26+ courses and lectured more than 36 courses that encompass the different aspects of Fine Arts knowledge that include theory, implementation, techniques, and history. Among the courses he lectures: History of Art & Architecture, Design, Drawing, Painting as well as overseeing the conceptual continuity and phases of implementation of senior year students’ Graduation Projects.
During his tenure at Alexandria University, Ramez Tag joined the staff of Faculty of Fine Arts as a Teaching Assistant after earning his BFA in 2008, graduating top of class with honors. After he received his Masters in Fine Arts in 2013, and his PhD in Fine Arts in 2018, he served as an Assistant professor of Faculty of Fine Arts. His several administrative roles at ALEXU included being Vice Dean’s Assistant for Education & Students Affairs, his membership of Painting Department Council Board, as well as his efforts in acquiring the accreditation from NAQAAE for the painting program of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
Ramez Tag currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Field of Arts & Design at Alamein International University in a full-time capacity since February 2022. He also holds the administrative position of Member of Strategic Planning and Internationalization committee, and he is entrusted with developing and overseeing the implementation of AIU visual identity and its collaterals.
